Harry Bout passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 10, 2009 after persevering with various health challenges for many years. Beloved husband to Theresa (nee VanEsch). Loving father to Andy (Karen), Mike (Linda) and Henry (Barb). Proud grandfather of Mark, Eric, Megan, Andrew, Erika and Anna. Forever remembered by his brothers Fred, Eric and Ruud of Holland. Predeceased by his son Richard and mother and father in Holland. Cherished by his many nephews, and extended family in Ontario, Holland and Western Canada. Daily chats and laughter will be missed by his very dear friend Jim Broomfield. Harry was a distinguished member of the Galt Cambridge Lions Club and founder of Production Metal Steel Sales and Golden Triangle Specialty Metals. While Harry’s health provided him with many challenges he had the opportunity to receive outstanding care from Dr. Paul Cary as well as the many dedicated doctors, nurses and others at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. They made his frequent hospital visits welcoming and comfortable. Special thanks go to the nurses in Medical Day Care. Harry and his family are especially appreciative of Dr. Jim Gowing’s friendship and his outstanding efforts in providing Harry with a quality of life that he enjoyed for many years. Special thanks to Dr. Gowing’s staff for all their kindness and support. The family would also like to acknowledge Harry’s nurse Abbey King for her daily visits and her devotion to Harry’s health and well being. Visiting will be held at T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge on Thursday July 16, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9, prayers at 8:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Clements RC Church, 745 Duke St., on Friday July 17, 2009 at 10 am., reception to follow. As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital or Galt Cambridge Lions Club.
